The Nik well known suite of effects has gotten better by the in version 3 by the advanced user interface that gives you the full control and best of all the full preview of the effect that you are to apply. The Nik palette gives acces to all Nik effects and filters available on your computer. Looking at the image you wish to modify you will either clik directly on the tab of the effect you want to apply or call the full interface through the filter menu. once the Nik window opens you will have acces to all control for that particular filter in brightness, contrast and the new incredib;e U-point technology to modulate the effect on certain regions where you want to dim or increase the effect.

I personaly loves the interface where you still have access to all filters and effects, because you could still play and experiment with not only variations with the filter you have choosen, but with all of the filters and their respective variations.

You can ten decide to apply the result bu hand by painting in the effect with the provided mask where you will only kind of paint in the effect and once this is done you still can change the opacity and fill…
