C’est aujourd’hui que s’ouvre l’exposition 2011 des meilleurs clichés de l’an dernier. Courez voir ça !

Notez, gens du Saguenay, que l’exposition sera à la Pulperie de Chicoutimi au mois de novembre, dans le cadre du Zoom Photo Festival.  Jean-François y  sera présent à la fin du mois de novembre pour une conférence, plus de détails à venir !

The exhibition starts today at the Marché Bonsecours. Go !

The Saguenay people won’t be left out since the exhibition will travel to la Pulperie in Chicoutimi this november for the Zoom Photo Festival. Jean-François will be there at the end of November as a lecturer. More details to come !

Cette grande célébration de la photo et de la vidéo dure 3 jours. Le StudioCoach y sera entre autres pour présenter une conférence sur le flash portatif comme éclairage principal, un produit développé par Booth Photographic que Jean-François utilise régulièrement. Il en a fait la démonstration dans son dernier outil de formation technique, le dvd « on ne travaille jamais vraiment avec une seule lumière ». Venez voir l’effet en direct !

This great Photo and Video Show lasts for three days and the Coach is very pleased to attend as a lecturer once again this year. He will talk about the portable flash as main light, a product developed by Booth Photographic that is regularly used by Jean-François. These working techniques have previously been covered in his dvd “You Never Really Shoot With One Light”, but come see the live demonstration !

What a group in London, I had never experienced a community feeling as this one at Stan C. Reade. James Cowie have knitted links so close with staff and customers that telling between patrons and staff is sometime difficult for an outsider. OK I may not seem to be fair in my report, that may be true. I had a so warm welcome, I felt as one of the family.

I visited Stan C. Reade on one stop of The Studio Make Over tour organized by Booth Photographic. It is the first stop of the fall shedule withch will bring the tour to Regina, Kelowna and Vancouver.

In London I had the chance to present for the firs time to canadian photographers: the TeraBox, world’s largest softbox, the Zero Cs white balance filters and the ColorBalanceCoach disc all distributed by Booth photo.

Thanks again to all the peoples I have met in London, just can’t wait to be back. (Anytime James!)
